Hart Cobb Presented Alumni Award

Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) and the PC Alumni Association awarded Hart Cobb its 2016 Mary F. Lehman Alumni Service award for outstanding meritorious service.

While attending PC, Cobb served as president of the Blue Key honor society and Sigma Nu fraternity. He received the College’s Most Outstanding Senior Award and was a four-year letterman on the tennis team.

Cobb received his MBA degree in 1971 from the University of Georgia, where he later served as a lecturer at the Terry College of Business.

Over the years, he has been involved with PC in several capacities as a class agent, a two-term member of the Alumni Board, and as its president. He is currently a member of the Scotsman Club Board, is involved with the Neville Renewed capital campaign, and is a member of PC’s Pillar Society.

Cobb has more than 35 years of experience in corporate real estate including past positions as director of real estate at WestPoint Stevens and Bidermann Industries and currently as Senior Vice President of Galaxy Partners. He also served as the managing director of the former WestPoint Stevens Foundation.

Apart from PC and business, he has been active in various civic clubs including Jaycees, Kiwanis, Rotary, and his church. He and his wife, Anne, are active members of the Dunwoody United Methodist Church in Atlanta.
